SHUTTERING PLY

Our densified shuttering plywood is a high-quality, compact, and durable structural plywood. It is manufactured using a unique ‘Heating–Cooling Cycle’ process, which enhances its strength and longevity.

With strict quality control measures, this plywood is designed for critical applications, ensuring excellent performance in high-end uses. It resists wear and tear, remains warp-free, and does not twist over time. Additionally, its protective properties safeguard against termites, fungi, rot, and other destructive elements.

This premium film-faced densified shuttering plywood offers exceptional durability and elegance. Its superior strength allows it to withstand heavy concrete loads and the intense vibrations caused during the pouring process.

What is Shuttering Plywood?

Shuttering Plywood (also called Film Faced Plywood) is a high-strength plywood used in construction for formwork (molds) in concrete structures. It is designed to withstand heavy loads, moisture, and multiple reuses.

Categories of Shuttering Plywood

  1. Film-Faced Plywood (Most Common)
    • Coated with a waterproof film (usually black or brown)
    • Smooth surface for better concrete finishing
    • Higher reusability (10–50 times depending on quality)
  2. BWP (Boiling Water Proof) Shuttering Plywood
    • Made with 100% hardwood or Gurjan wood
    • Bonded with phenolic resin (waterproof)
    • Durable and resistant to boiling water for long hours
  3. Densified Shuttering Plywood
    • Higher density (above 1000 kg/m³)
    • Greater load-bearing capacity
    • Used in bridges, flyovers, and heavy construction
  4. Plastic Coated Shuttering Plywood
    • Covered with a plastic film
    • More water and chemical resistant
    • Increases reusability and lifespan
